Day 14 – God is With You

And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and look, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen (Matthew 28:18-20).
Notice this portion: “Look, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” God is with you. I love the story of the four lepers in Second Kings. Lepers were forbidden by the ceremonial ordinances to enter the towns and ordered to stay up to a quarter of a mile away from other people. They would have to get off the road if someone else was coming. They had to yell out at the top of their lungs, “Unclean.”
In this story, these four lepers were starving to death outside of the town. They could not go back to their own town because there was nothing left to eat. They could not stay where they were because there was nothing left to eat. If they went into the enemy’s camp they would be stoned by the public for being enemy lepers. They made a decision and a declaration of determination. They said, “Why sit here until we die? Let’s rise up and go into the enemy’s camp and see what happens” (II Kings 7:3).
They got up and went into the city. The Lord was with them. The Lord made their footsteps sound like an enormous army in the ears of their enemies. Their enemy was completely terrified that they all fled out into the wilderness. They left behind all the spoils. When the lepers reached the city, everything was theirs for the taking. God was with them.
Our God is with us as well. Let’s dig deep into His courage, faith, boldness, tenacity, stick ability, steadfastness, and faithfulness. We know now that in Him we have boldness, access, and confidence by the faith of Him (Ephesians 3:12).
Psalm 139 says, “Where can I go that you are not there? If I go to the tallest mountain, You are there. If I go to the depth of the sea, You are there. Where ever I go you are there.” Our God is omnipresent (He is always present everywhere). He is with us right now where ever we are and in whatever we are doing.

Meditate for five minutes on this lesson.

Journal one whole page.

Pray this Prayer: Father, help me now to realize You are always with me. Help me to know that Your love is never separated from me. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!
