He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it (1 Thess. 5:24).
I love the story about an American missionary to Mexico. He abandoned everything to relocate his wife and three little children to the place where he felt God calling him to minister. After a couple of years with no success they returned to the USA to raise financial support. Again the family had no success. They returned to Mexico with little to nothing.
Shortly, after the husband was killed in an accident. The wife decided to stay in Mexico and continue their dream of reaching a community for Jesus Christ. One of the young boys grew up to be an amazing communicator, singer and musician. Today this lady watches her son Marcus Witt fill soccer stadiums all over Latin America as he sings and preaches the love of Christ. When things get tuff and they will get tuff, always remember our God is faithful.
Meditate for five minutes on this lesson.
Journal one whole page.
Pray this Prayer: Father, thank You for being faithful. Thank You for Your consistency. I worship You and I praise You for Your faithfulness. I love You for Your faithfulness, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!
